Just a quick heads-up – due to thunderstorms, DS Archery has cancelled their shoot for today, April 28th.

You can visit their FaceBook page HERE.

Saturday in the Atlanta area, low of 66, high of 85 – mostly sunny with a 100% chance of ARROWS HITTING FOAM!

Sunday in the Atlanta area, low of 69, high of 78 – chance o’ thunder boomers, 100% chance of ARROWS HITTING FOAM.

(Though Sunday I’m taking the day off and going to see Kevin Hearne at A Capella)

We had a great time talking to Kevin Hearne at A Capella books!  Very cool dude to talk to, there was a decent crowd (it’s a small, neighborhood bookstore, and the rain meant we all had to stay indoors instead of using the patio), and I look forward to seeing him again sometime soon, maybe at DragonCon this year.

Chilly out this morning, about 57′, if the thermometer on my truck is correct.  We’re on the wrong side of summer, but that bit of chill in the air stirred up some primitive ‘is it time to hunt’ feeling in my head*.  Which is a bit odd, since I think we only had three or four cold days in the woods here in Georgia last year.

*For some reason, my Android changed ‘in my head’ to ‘inky head’ this morning.
