DS Archery is having a Fun Shoot this weekend:

(Click on the map, use the ‘get directions to here’ feature – this is the actual location, using their normal address in a GPS does NOT work.)

We are having a FUN ONLY shoot Saturday Feb 23rd.

All money will benefit the Corinth Baptist church youth group .

$10 for all shooters

Any questions give us a call

Riverbottom Outdoors

Don’t seem to be any shoots close by for the day of Feb. 24, so RBO decided to hold a fun shoot that Sunday. No plaques or anything, just for fun and keep everyone in practice. $10 entry, so come on out and have some fun and get that practice in for our next shoot on Mar. 3rd.

Big John posted in Georgia Outdoor News:

“Ok the range is open at Lake Oconee Golf & Archery in Eatonton, GA. We will be shooting this thursday night!!

Davey Mountain is having a shoot as well – I don’t see any directions, phone number, or other information on their thread in the forums.

Black Mountain Archery posted:

Also we added a k-40 trophy class for the women. The new rules are on our website (blackmtarchery.com). We want to thank everone for there input on this,we are trying to accommodate as many archers as we can!! See Yal Sunday.”

High Lonesome 3D Range in Gibson Georgia posted:

Again, no directions, no phone number, no website listed.  I did find a post on Georgia Archery’s website to their address, so here’s a map:

Another post from GON.com:

We actually have three local shoots this week.

Its been years since we have had this happen around the Thomson area.

I think that archery is growing!

High Lonesome on Saturday (see above)

Fort Gordon and Destiny Farm on Sunday. (Found a link to Destiny Farm’s site)

All three will be great ranges!

All three have a money class for me to donate to also.”

No other info on Fort Gordon or Destiny Farm in that thread, I’ll dig around later and see if I can find it.

Christian Bowhunters of Georgia will be shooting this weekend as well

* After much thought & 18 years of no change, we are having to raise

our shoot prices to help maintain a healthy financial balance for CBG.
(CBG Membership dues will remain the same.)
The prices will take affect starting at the January 2013 shoot and are as follows:

Jr. Eagles – Free

All Plaque Classes – $15

“Fun” Shoot – $10

Money Class – $20

Family Max. (parents & kids under 18 yrs. in your immediate family, excluding Money Class) – $30

Okay, that’s all the ‘cat herding’ I can stand at the moment – there are more shoots this weekend around Atlanta, but tracking down information on each one is annoying (simple rule ‘When, where, how much, who to contact’ would make that problem go away.’)
