Tracking Deer – Video plus personal comments

My personal favorite low-cost item to carry in my pack for tracking – the glow stick. Instead of hanging a LED flashlight from a tree limb, you can hang one of these $1 items, and since they are so cheap, you can actually buy packs of them, and hang several up as you track at night, making an easy to follow line.  Even better, they last nearly 12 hours, so we use them back at camp after trailing deer.  While a lot of people think these are just for kids to mess around with, they are VERY bright in darkness, which is useful when you have to get up in the middle of the night to relieve your bladder. Glow sticks are also useful for survival situations.   And they look cool.
